Everyone knows that some books are better than others. Often people avoid saying it, because it sounds kind of mean! But it’s the truth.
Everything I Never Told You (buy here) is one of those books that is just slightly better than a lot of other books. It just is. It feels so real. The writing style is clear and engaging. The story touches the reader. I have so, so much to say about this book!

This is my glowing and SPOILER FREE review of Collins’ latest novel: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (available to buy here!).
I was so surprised to hear about this release (and don’t even get me started on Stephanie Myer’s new book) – it feels a bit like I’ve randomly been sent back in time to 2010. I didn’t have high expectations honestly, but I was really pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed the writing, and I enjoyed the fact it made me think! It’s not often a YA book can do all those things so well.

I don’t know about you, but when I don’t know what to read, I turn to the world around me for inspiration. A few weeks ago, I found myself googling ‘books about pandemics’, wanting for reason to read about a pandemic – but not the current one!
Reading is an escape from the world, so it might seem strange to want to read about pandemics at a time when the coronavirus has consumed us. But I think these books suspend your disbelief, and by offering “worst case scenario” storylines, might even make you more grateful for our reality.
